Project Healthy Minds’ Guide for Healthy Minds To Be Featured on Red Table Talk

Candid conversations have the power to destigmatize, inspire, and break down barriers.

When people from different perspectives come together to discuss difficult issues – rather than shying away from them – we make progress.

That’s why I am so thrilled to share that Project Healthy Minds will be featured on the Emmy Award-winning show Red Table Talk this season to help its viewers discover mental health services.

The /Guide for Healthy Minds, our free digital marketplace with more than sixty expert-vetted mental health services, will be included in episodes of Red Table Talk that touch on relevant, sensitive topics.

Now in its fifth season, the show is hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow, and mother Gammy. In each episode, they open their home for candid conversations with family and friends about the most important and provocative topics of the day.

The show has broken records and molds alike – it’s the #1 show on Facebook Watch in the U.S., with each episode garnering an average of nearly 15 million views.

Our friends at Westbrook, who produce Red Table Talk, have been extraordinary partners. We are grateful to Tera Hanks, the President of Westbrook and a member of our Board of Directors, for her leadership in bringing a new wave of authentic mental health storytelling into the entertainment industry.

There’s never been a more urgent moment for this leadership. U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s recent Advisory on Youth Mental Health called on media companies and content creators to always provide a link to where viewers and followers can find mental health services whenever they are creating mental health-themed content.   What we also know from our own research is that role models are critical to shattering the stigma and solving the mental health crisis – which makes this inclusion on Red Table Talk all that more exciting.

Stay tuned to Red Table Talk this season – and keep an eye out for our /Guide for Healthy Minds featured in relevant episodes.
